Lingmala Waterfall

Nature's Spectacular Cascade

The Glory of the Monsoons

Lingmala Waterfall is one of the most breathtaking natural attractions in Mahabaleshwar. Situated around 6 km from the town center along the Mahabaleshwar-Pune road, the Venna River cascades down from an astounding height of approximately 500 feet into the deep Venna Valley.

The site features two distinct waterfalls: the lower mini fall, which is calm and ideal for relaxing wading and swimming, and the thunderous main waterfall, viewed from an elevated vantage deck that provides panoramic valley vistas and misty rainbows on sunny days.

Lingmala is included in our popular Waterfall & Sunset Darshan (Tour 2), covered along with Wilson Point, Venna Lake, and Bombay Point at the official rate of ₹1,200.

Trek Path & Safety Advisory

Reaching the main waterfall requires a 1.5 km (approx. 30 minutes) nature walk with stone steps. During peak monsoons, paths can be slippery and misty.

Wear shoes with excellent grip (avoid smooth sandals or flip-flops)
Do not cross safety barricades at the elevated viewing deck
Carry an umbrella or light raincoat during rainy months
